Alternative Communication Service, LLC (ACS) a leader in CART, captioning, Text Interpreting and Sign Language is announcing the addition of several new staff members.   ACS provides onsite and remote text and sign language services throughout the country to business, schools, convention groups and individuals. 

Mr. Bill Graham has joined ACS as Director of Advocacy and Education.  He has been a longtime consumer advocate on disability issues, particularly those involving deaf and hard-of-hearing people. He co-founded the Association of Late-Deafened Adults (ALDA) and has served on many local and national boards, including Lighthouse International, the National Court Reporter's Foundation, VITAC Caption Viewers Advisory Panel, and the Gallaudet University Board of Trustees.  “Bill brings a level of expertise to ACS that has been missing.  We feel fortunate that he has chosen to work with us,” commented Mike Cano, Co-owner of ACS.

Vivian Jauregui is joining ACS as the Marketing and Design Coordinator for Realtime Fitness Online, the educational division of Alternative Communication Services.  Vivian is a senior at Washington University in St. Louis and is working to gain a BFA in Communication Design and a minor in Business Marketing. Vivian looks forward to being able to help ACS and the RFO community with any questions or suggestions they have for the websites.  In addition, Vivian is working collaboratively with other staff to develop ACS’s presence in various social media forums.

And Mr. Rick R. Prickett is joining the staff as the Special Projects Manager bringing to Alternative Communication Services over 25 years experience in disability services. Rick will be assisting in Convention Management, Scheduling Application Management (SAM), Communication Services and New Business opportunities. Rick was a certified sign language interpreter and worked with the Association on Higher Education And Disability (AHEAD). In addition to disability services, his marketing background has allowed him to work with various industries of interest providing for a broad view of experiences, including arts and culture organizations, the tourism industry, animal conservation and preservation and environmental, senior and children's issues.

Phil Hyssong, co-owner of ACS stated, “We are really excited by the addition of Rick, Vivian and Bill.  The knowledge possessed by these three will help the consumers of ACS phenomenally and will assist in positioning ACS to be a clearing house of information and expertise as it relates to text and sign language services for people with hearing loss.”
